Responsible Advertising
A trust operating model for sponsored recommendations.
AIP is designed to keep paid placements visible, reviewed, and separate from the agent's organic answer. This policy defines what is and isn't allowed.
Campaign review
Claims and categories checked before activation.
Claim check
Advertiser claims must be supportable and non-misleading.
Consent settings
User preferences respected in personalisation scope.
Label enforcement
Sponsored labels applied at the protocol level.
Delivery logs
All sponsored events recorded for audit.
Core Rules
Six principles that govern every sponsored recommendation.
Visible sponsorship
Every sponsored recommendation must carry a clear, visible label. Labels are enforced at the protocol level and cannot be removed by the advertiser or operator.
RequiredHonest answer first
The agent's organic answer always appears before any sponsored content. AIP does not replace, rewrite, or suppress the agent's independent response.
RequiredAdvertiser claims
Claims made in sponsored content must be supportable, non-misleading, and reviewed before activation. Unverifiable performance claims are not permitted.
ReviewableConsent controls
Personalisation signals are limited to intent categories and user-provided context. Sensitive personal data is not used for targeting without explicit user consent.
ControlTargeting limits
Sponsored recommendations may not target based on protected characteristics, inferred health conditions, or political affiliations.
ControlAuditability
Every sponsored delivery event is logged with delivery ID, label status, category, and outcome. Records are available for review and export.
